THE TRAYPACKER OPERATING PRINCIPLE

In the tray infeed area, the labels (top and bottom) are inspected by cameras. If there are any defects, the tray is subsequently ejected. The trays then move to the receiving position of the lifting and rotating device. Here, the trays are picked up by two suction cups and rotated 90° into a nest. The kinematic mechanism then retrieves the trays and positions them in the tray tray.

The tray trays are removed from above and positioned in the tray tray. The tray trays for the tray feed are fed in on the same line. Depending on requirements, they can be rotated 90° on the conveyor or not. From here, the tray trays are moved into a magazine, which serves as a temporary storage area. This allows short-term gaps in the feed to be bridged.

From the lowest magazine position, the tray tray is then moved into the receiving position and loaded. The receiving position, including the loaded platform, is then lowered onto the discharge conveyor located below the loading position using a lowering aid.
